Motorcycle Training & Safety
From December 6th 2010, Initial Basic Training for motorcyclists is the law.
If your first learner permit is issued after this date, you must successfully complete a 16 hour course of Initial Basic Training (IBT) before you can ride unsupervised on a public road.
IBT can only be provided by driving instructors who have been approved by the Road Safety Authority for this purpose – you’ll find a full listing on www.rsa.ie.
So give yourself every chance of staying safe while you’re still a vulnerable learner rider – by doing the basics.

If you would like further information at the Show, then come along to the RSA Interactive Shuttle located at Q1 where you can speak with RSA members of staff in relation to all aspects of road safety. |
