World Class Custom Bike!
IRELAND'S 2009 AMD CUSTOM BIKE CHAMPION IS WORLD CLASS!

At the AMD Custom Bike Building World Championship Grand Finale in Sturgis USA, Irish Champion Don Cronin and his bike "Medazza" took a superb 4th in class and a stunning 18th overall in the WORLD!    WELL DONE DON!

The Irish Motorbike and Scooter Show organiser, Ruth Lemass said: ‘I am delighted for Don and all the guys from Cork but even more pleased for the Irish custom bike building industry overall. The Irish custom bike scene may be smaller than in other countries but we have a wealth of creative engineering and artistic talent in Ireland. We are delighted at the superb standard of entries from both companies and individuals since we first became affiliated to the AMD World Custom Bike Building Championship at the 2006 Irish Motorbike Show, RDS. The prize of a paid trip to represent Ireland at the World Finals in the USA really makes for strong competition and has helped put Ireland on the custom bike map worldwide. We are especially pleased when we hear of overseas bikers having their custom bikes built in Ireland. When you consider there were hundreds of custom bikes from the creme de la creme of the World’s builders at the Sturgis Finals, with many costing over €100,000 to build, it really puts Don's achievement into perspective. I can’t wait for the next Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show to see what creations this success inspires!
