The Purple Helmets
Posted on February 27th, 2009 No comments
In truth, their title is perhaps too mild - but that sets up the surprise. Whether it’s in the air or on the ground, the stunts performed by the Purple Helmets will leave you with your jaw dropped and appetite satisfied. These guys are so hardcore that we’re just surprised they wear helmets in the first place. But thank God they do!

Wall of Death

Gravity defying stunts
Ok how do I explain this…If you saw this being performed on TV, you’d think the cameraman was playing tricks on you. But he wouldn’t be. The Wall of Death is a fast-paced, high-octane and extremely exciting display that defies both gravity and vertical logic to ultimately give the paying punter a show they’ll never forget. Riders on the Wall of Death do exactly what the title may suggest – they ride their vroom vrrom around a circular wall in such a motion and incredible speed that will leave you slightly dizzy by the end of it, but still crying out for more. With Ken Fox on board to perform it, a spectacular display is guaranteed.

Speedway with Stan Burza
Posted on February 15th, 2009 1 commentIf you thought the show was action-packed up to this point, you’re in for a real treat with Speedway. For biker fans who like their two-wheel entertainment a little bit on the edge, you’ve found what you’re looking for. Speedway is like nothing you’ve ever witnessed; four riders, all striving to cross the finish line first. Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? But what’s certainly not simple for the competitors are the series of high-speed turns they have to make in the pursuit of victory. Oh yeah, and they don’t have the use of any brakes! This is a feature of the show that just can’t be done true justice by the written word – get down to the RDS and see it for yourself. Polish rider Stan Burza will undoubtedly be the star attraction. Considering the last time Speedway came to Ireland was back in the 1950s, you wouldn’t want to be waiting around for its next visit.

Mattie Griffin is Ireland’s No.1 motorcycle stunt rider, and the world’s No.5; and we’re delighted to have him on board for the show. His catalogue of risky manoeuvres will leave you with your heart in your mouth and wanting for more. Daredevil Griffin is not for the faint hearted!

Posted on February 3rd, 2009 No commentsLooking forward to this!
The internationally-acclaimed Fuel Girls’ racy routine is sure to get the pulses racing. These girls have a no-holds-barred approach to entertainment and their show promises to be a feast of tattoos, bikes and bad behaviour.
