The Irish affiliate round of the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building took place at the Carole Nash Irish Motorbike and Scooter Show and the top prizes were awarded in both domestic and international categories, with Zodiac International sponsoring prize vouchers for the winners.<\/p>\n

AMD INTERNATIONAL CUSTOM BIKE BUILDING COMPETITION<\/h4>\n

1st Prize:<\/strong>
The 2011 AMD World Championship runner up Larry Houghton of Lamb Engineering in the United Kingdom won the top prize with \u201cCircus of Speed\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, a heavily modified Triumph Bonneville.<\/p><\/div>\n

2nd Prize:
Second City Customs, also of the UK took second place with their S&S-engined chopper \u201cThe Rousler\u201d, which featured a one-off custom frame and extensive engraving work by the legendary Don Blocksidge.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

3rd Prize:
Revatu Customs of The Netherlands with \u201cBlack Pearl\u201d, a bike powered completely by compressed air!<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

AMD IRISH CUSTOM BIKE BUILDING CHAMPION<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The 2013 AMD World Champion Medaza Cycles, Mick O\u2019Shea and Don Cronin, was again crowned Irish Champion for 2015<\/strong> with new project “Road Fever”<\/strong><\/em> – a Ducati-derived special.<\/p><\/div>\n

2nd Prize:
