This is the fourth generation of the cult helmet. It must be one of the most versatile helmets ever made by anyone, let alone Arai. The lid is based on a competition off-road helmet but comes with a visor that renders it a perfectly good road helmet for your adventure bike. Indeed, if you try to find an advertising picture of a GS, Multi or anything similar the rider will usually be wearing one. They also do the trick when it comes to your epic bit of grand touring as well as off road.
The reason for this is that the visor can be removed, and the peak replaced rendering it as easy to use with a pair of goggles as an MX lid. What we like about it is that the peak can be removed which makes it the perfect helmet for wearing on your MT 10, it catches almost no wind and looks very cool indeed. Obviously, that’s how we wear ours, because that’s how we roll. There is, of course, a vast array of designs and sizes to choose from. Speaking of sizes, the cheek pads are replaceable and come with an emergency tab for quick and easy release.
